Summer is a rich season for blooms! To learn the growth habits and requirements of these plants, the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center and the Illinois Wildflower Center are two of our favorite sources. Not all, but many of our natives are shared with Illinois; and they give detailed descriptions of the plant's botany and of its faunal associations.
